About The swim cooperative

The purpose of the Swimming Cooperative website is to provide a tool for all of the members of the Loudoun swim community to participate in and to understand the path of swimmer development over the years. Piecing together a swim career from age six to college is difficult. Understanding the challenges and the opportunities that arise over the course of swimmer's careers is the key to a swimmer's success in and out of the water. The knowledge and tools this website seeks will ease the journey of all stakeholders interested in Loudoun swimming.

* Explore the different levels and modes of swim instruction. training and competition are available to athletes of all ages in Loudoun County through the Cooperative.

* Parents and coaches will apply knowledge, information, and lessons learned through the information collected by the Cooperative to better understand and guide their athletes through their careers.

* Swimmers will utilize the Cooperative to aid in learning and development through their careers to enrich their experiences and success. Alumni podcasts and Q&A will offer insights and insider information that athletes can apply to their careers at every stage of development.

* Community organizations, leagues, club teams, and high schools will use the Cooperative to share logistical and scheduling information, results, and general news regarding the sport of swimming in Loudoun County.
